&Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge: price, review, what's included and alternatives
&Beyond Mnemba Island is a luxury lodge on a private island off Matemwe, in north-east Zanzibar. Price shown by &Beyond in October 2026: from US$2,150 per person per night, up to about US$3,090 in peak season (a reseller's 2026-2027 schedule, January to March 2027); the lodge is closed from 8 April to 20 May. The rate covers three meals a day, selected drinks, laundry, water sports (snorkelling, kayaking) and return transfers. Capacity: 12 bandas and 24 guests according to &Beyond (other sites say 10 bandas, to be confirmed). A single supplement may apply.

Tips
- Who it suits: an exceptional occasion (honeymoon, anniversary) with a budget of several thousand euros for a short stay. If your budget is more modest, taste Mnemba on a day trip from Kendwa or Matemwe: the boat trips visit the atoll but do not necessarily reach the private island (confirm with the operator); see Mnemba and Safari Blue or Mnemba. To sleep ashore, compare the hotels of Matemwe or plan a honeymoon: Zanzibar honeymoon. Rates come from &Beyond and resellers; ask for the exact price for your date.
How to get there
The return transfer between Zanzibar and the island is included in the rate; the lodge arranges the trip from the airport or hotel.
