Zanzibar Authority is an independent travel guide. This page explains who publishes it, how pages are written and checked, and how the site makes money.
Who writes this guide
Pages are signed "The Zanzibar Authority editorial team": they are prepared and updated by the editorial team of DEVINTECH, the site's publisher. We do not publish fake authors.
How we work
- Opening hours, prices, rules and dates come from official websites, operators and the press; when a fact is not confirmed, the page says so.
- Every page shows its update date, and only real updates change it.
- News pages (strikes, protests, events) are reviewed every week while the event lasts.
- Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences; credits are given.
How the site makes money
The guide is free. Some pages offer activities, tickets or hotels from partners (GetYourGuide, Booking.com, Tiqets, Klook, Airalo and others): if you book through these links, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partners do not review our pages and do not pay to appear on them: we choose the offers ourselves.
