The Kendwa Rocks Full Moon Party is a beach party on Kendwa beach, in northern Zanzibar, held every month around the full moon. Sources give two rules for the date: the Saturday closest to the full moon, or the first Saturday after the full moon. No published 2026-2027 calendar was found: confirm the date with Kendwa Rocks before you book. According to one listing, gates open at 19:00, the main stage plays until about 04:00 and the afterparty runs until 06:00; tickets start at about 32,000 Tanzanian shillings.

How to get there
Kendwa is about one to one and a half hours from Stone Town on the north-west coast, a few kilometres south of Nungwi. Arrange the round trip with your hotel: there are few taxis late at night, see getting around Zanzibar and from the airport to your hotel.
