Where the festival takes place
The heart of the festival is the old town around the seafront; the Old Fort and its amphitheatre seats have hosted cultural events. Venues and times change every year: check the programme published by the organisers. For the rest of your visit, see Stone Town in one day.

Sleep in Stone Town, within walking distance of screenings and evenings: it saves the most time, as streets are narrow and taxis slow at night.
